How to naturally avoid dandruff

Were you feeling insecure and low on yourself because little flakes were falling on your black dress? Dandruff, however, can affect how you behave in public. Seborrhea, known as dandruff in medicine, weakens your scalp mainly due to improper hair brushing, tension, and dry skin. So the question is now, how can you stop it?

Now that you know what causes dandruff in the first place, let’s talk about how to get rid of it. If the case of dandruff is not severe, home remedies can be effective. It is advised that you get medical attention if your dandruff is rigid to resolve this issue. You may require medical care to treat this disease if the shampoos you use occasionally are ineffective.

  • Fenugreek seeds

Speaking of dandruff home treatments, fenugreek seeds are a lifesaver. They are a fantastic source of antibacterial and antifungal characteristics, making them extremely helpful in removing flakes. Protein, vitamin C, iron, potassium, nicotinic acid, and lecithin are other nutrients that can adequately care for and nourish your hair. Half a cup of fenugreek seeds should be soaked in a basin overnight. The following morning, apply a paste to your hair and scalp. After 30 minutes, remove it with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Once a week for a few months, repeat this.

  • Lemon juice

It has been demonstrated that using lemon juice as a cure effectively gets rid of dandruff naturally. Citric acid, which is abundant in this food, prevents dandruff at the hair follicle roots. The fungus producing this dandruff is eliminated by its antibacterial qualities. In a bowl, combine curd and lemon juice. After applying it to your hair, use your fingers to massage the mixture into your scalp. Before washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner, let the mixture sit on your hair for around 10 minutes. Once every two weeks, continue doing this till you detect a difference.

  • Apple cider vinegar

This method is your best bet for eradicating dandruff at home! The antifungal and antibacterial qualities of apple cider vinegar are fantastic for preserving the health of your scalp. The vinegar successfully stops the condition and removes any fungi that cause dandruff. Sometimes the cause of dandruff is a pH imbalance. It combats this by bringing your scalp’s pH into balance. Its anti-inflammatory qualities ease scalp inflammation and irritation, which reduces itching brought on by dandruff. In a bowl, combine equal quantities of water and apple cider vinegar. Pour the vinegar-water combination into your hair and massage it into your scalp after washing your hair as usual. After leaving it on for approximately 15 minutes, rinse it off with water. It would help if you did this each time you shampooed your hair.

  • Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is a potent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent with a memorable name that makes it a successful treatment for dandruff. Tea tree oil can be included with your regular shampoo in a few drops. Your scalp should be massaged with this mixture. After about 5 minutes, rinse it off with cold water. For optimal results, use this technique two times per week.
